Trying to use a scanning application skanlite, xsane or vuescan each app is not able to find the device and it does not show ubuhtu any longer with scanimage -L but still under lsusb. It was just a typing error in my previous post, I don’t even have a folder called “snapscan. Unfortunately, the software only installs under Windows and then you have to copy the software from the Windows machine to the linux machine.
